• What do they look like? Super awesome! :) He’s filipino and hispanic, so he’s about 6’1 and naturally tanned, cute smile, brown eyes and loves to make funny faces :) 

About the Relationship:

• Did you meet through the internet? Nope
• If not, how did you meet? We met my freshman year during tennis, and I started talking to him as a friend because I wore… Electrical tape on my pants as a dare :P I had a crush on him from the beginning, but he liked other girls and dated another girl until about March and he started liking me back (FINALLY) We began dating March 12, 2010 :) 
• How often do you see them? I saw him after 6 months for 2 days… But the next time I see him is up to the Navy :/ 
• How long have you been together? 2 years :)

• Saw them? 2 weeks ago

• What made you decide you wanted to be in a long-distance relationship? He was going to go to college anyway, but then he decided to join the Navy… Boot camp for 3 months, didn’t get to talk to him through it, now he’s in Florida for A and C school. Gah.. 5 more years of this.. 
• How does it usually make you feel? Sad and happy? Happy because we are still together, and every time I see him is exciting. Sad because I don’t see him often at all, and of course… Jealousy is another thing :P 
• Are there any songs that remind you of them? We used to sing in the car, so any song we used to sing in the car together, and then The Beatles- I want to Hold Your Hand :) 
• Ever feel unable to believe you’re in a real relationship because of it? No, but it does get really hard since we are both really hard headed and when we fight it just gets ridiculous. 
• Do you ever feel angry or stressed because of the distance? Ohhhh yeah.
• Do you ever take it out on your significant other? Not really, but sometimes I bottle it up too much, and when he starts getting me upset I bring it up. 
• Are you ever jealous of local couples? The only reason Im jealous is because they can see their other any time they want, and even though they would break up soon, my relationship has to be so far. 
• What are the advantages of a long-distance relationship? You know the love is true and that the other person is willing to wait to be with you. I’ve learned patience and that good things come to those who wait and knowing you are that special to someone feels great too!
• What are the disadvantages? Not being able to see him daily like I used to. We cant talk face to face anymore, and through a computer just isn’t the same. If we fight, I cant drive to see him like I used to, and he cant come home either. Holding hands, and being funny together is a lot more difficult. 
• Do people have less faith in your relationship because of the distance? Yes! A lot of our friends feel like I should break up with him, and my mom doesn’t exactly see eye to eye on our relationship.
• How do you usually talk to them? Calling, texting, Facebook, facetime, and youtube :) (we send each other funny videos from RWJ and JennaMarbles)
• Has the distance helped your relationship at all? We are probably going to get a bunch stronger from this all. 

Future:

• Do you ever hope to live with your significant other? After college, or during if he can get stationed near a university. 
• Do you hope to marry them? Maybe :P I really don’t know :) 
• Do you hope to have kids with them? haha, that kinda far XD 
• Do you think it’d be strange to finally have them with you, permanently? I’m sure it’ll be different, but in its an experience to have.
• Do you think there’s a chance of this happening? Surely :)
• Would you ever break up with them because of the distance? Maybe. Depends on the stress and how bad everything gets (if it gets there) 
• What keeps you from ending it all?  The thought of not having him in my life seems impossible. If we could be friends and still talk I would, but I feel like we are supposed to be together.

• Overall, are you happy you’re in the relationship? Yes :) It has its rough patches, but we can get through them. 
• Any advice for others in your situation? Do whats best for you no matter what! Don’t get too worked up over missed calls and texts, its not worth it. Just talk it out with them, and GET A SKYPE or FACTIME account :)
